Explainer: Rebalancing Acts

Rebalancing Acts showed how, in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, the allocation of space on streets could be adjusted to enable social distancing, prioritize trips by essential workers, encourage active travel, and make more effective use of a limited public resource. This was a Toole Design project designed to convey best practices in response to this public crisis.
